I’m always fascinated by how different ecosystems connect to a vast network on a global and local scale. Their beauty lies in the evolutionary perfected process that makes them all unique. Every individual is well-adapted to the niche that it finds in an ecosystem, or it creates new ones. To explore their biodiversity and conservation, I started a blog about environmental issues.
I wondered how we as humans fit in this ensemble and how the interconnection of ecosystems impacts our daily lives. Therefore this blog is about ecosystems and our place as humans in the natural world. The posts cover everything from the smallest members of an ecosystem to its overall performance and human benefits. Further, I write about technical solutions, environmental policies, and human behaviour to mitigate climate change and protect the ecosystems on Earth.
My fascination for nature is what I want to share with you in this blog. I try to explain scientific phenomena in a way that anyone, regardless of prior knowledge, can understand. The post should help us understand that we are part of nature and thus not independent from its cycles and that we as humans have the power to preserve it.
About me
I´ve spent six months living in Guadeloupe and the surrounding Caribbean islands. Inspired by the beautiful Island I´ve started a blog about environmental issues to draw attention to the magnificent nature surrounding us. I´m not only captured by the aesthetics of the environment but also by the laws of nature driving Ecosystems.
My environmental studies teach me about fundamental principles of the functioning of Ecosystems. However, I try to supplement my knowledge through careful research for these blog posts. I´m excited to share this journey through knowledge of nature with you. Let´s discover ecosystems and our place in the natural world together.
